When they had made it to the river Temon started to explain. "I want you to to swim against the flow of the river. It will help build more muscle in your legs," he said. The current of the river wasn't that strong, but enough to get a good workout.

"Easy."Angel said,as she waded into the river. But the current was stronger than she expected, and the river suddenly looked wider.Even so,she braced her muscles and swam swiftly across. She got out, shook herself, and said,"Ok,what's next?"

"Actually, the idea is to swim against the river," Temon said. "Kind of like trotting in place, but you'll have weight pushing against you and you need to push back."

Angel sometimes got fed up with training, and though she was,she leapt back into the water. She began this time, not to swim, but to trot in place against the current.

Angel hated this kind of comment, and with determination and anger on her face, she moved herself into a canter.

"That's it keep it up," Temon said. "I know you can go faster." Temon knew Angel didn't always like what he said, but it helped to encourage her.

She pushed herself harder and harder, until she was going at full speed throught the water.

"That it," Temon finally cheered her now proudly. She was doing great. "Keep it up." A minute later he turned to her and said, "Alright, you can come out now."
