After all that had happened. Cham came back empty handed. The two mares that had followed him and Spirit had joined the Cimarron Herd, which was fine. Cham wasn't going to force them to join him. But he had lost Thunder. Thunder was the closest thing to him as a son he would ever have. Now all there was to do was go back to the herd and face them all. Cham's mane had been chopped short, like the calvary horses. His tail trimmed a bit. He was ever branded. He's stitches were still in. Only a day had gone by since they had returned to the valley near the Cimarron herd. Cham had waited. Taking his time getting back to his herd. He felt embarrassed that he's mane had been cut and everything else that had happened. The only thing worth of pride was the stitches of where the bullet had been. Cham sighed. He would meet up with Spirit if he had any trouble here. He wasn't in any condition to fight. He was still getting over the bullet. Cham walked into the forest and followed the small stream that lead to where the herd was usually hang out. Cham walked on, until he heard the voices of the herd. As he drew closer there was one voice that caught him right away. It was Dal. Cham did not bother to look toward Dal.

Cham turned he's head quickly in Dal's direction and glared at him. Cham kept on walking and said, "That is not of your concern."

Cham stopped in his tracks and turned his head back to look at Dal. He glared at him and pinned his ears flat back. "Like a father to me? When have you ever been like a father to me," Cham said. "I've always been the one watching out for almost everyone in this herd. At lest I tried to help Thunder! And at lest, I saved Spirit's life from those horrible things that make the banging sounds that the humans call 'guns'! You should not be sitting there about to laugh your head off over what I've gone through," Cham said as he walked up to Dal. He was a bit smaller than Dal because of his breeding, but he could put up a fight. "I've seen things that you haven't. I've gone through things that you haven't. I've been through torture. I've lived through being shot by those guns. And yet you still have the nerve to sit back and laugh at my shame, my troubles, and my suffering." He snorted. He was fed up with Dal making fun of him. Cham had done something very few horses have done.
ooc: Dal should still make fun of him. Now is Dal's chance to made Cham even lower. sorry, just a suggestion. lol. hope u don't mind.

Cham's ears had gone forward to listen to Dal, but then came straight back again. They stayed flat this time. "What are you talking about," Cham asked, wonder about what Dal considered pain and shame. "What shame? What pain? All I see if a stallion who always puts his pride before others safety."

"You stole my leadership from me,bringing me shame. You beat me into the ground in front of my lost herd, and yet you still stand, bold as brass, and laugh in my face?I think not."The bigger silver stud stepped towards him.

"I did not steal the leadership of this herd. I fought for it fairly, just like any other stallion would have. I haven't laughed to your face over that," Cham said. Cham shook his head. "I don't have time for this," he said as he turned away from Dal. "Arguing over nothing."

Cham turned to looked at him. Almost like a helpless colt. Cham didn't know what to do. He was in no condition to fight over anything. Cham couldn't just leave the herd. He was the leader. And why should he leave? This herd was for stallions that were no longer accepted any where else. Cham's head went low. He know he could not fight Dal and win. Cham had gone through so much in so little time.
