"Oh shut you, ugly, stupid arrogant little fl-"Hidalgo started. "You finish that sentence,Mister, and you will know what it mean to be horse-whipped raw!"Spirit warned.Hidalgo snorted angrily and mumbled the rest of the word under his breath, so Spirit wouldn't hear. "You go around acting like that all your life, you will quickly learn not all stallion,or mares, are as accepting of bad behaviour ad we are." "I'll do what I want Dad!I'm grown up and I'll dow what I feel like!"Hidalgo snarled. "A full-grown CHILD maybe!Certainly not a stallion."The father replied coldly.Hidalgo stamped his hoof angrily before turning and galloping away."Where do you think your going?"Spirit thundered after him. "To the Hai Herd!"Hidalgo snapped back.

Aimee had her ears pinned back the whole time. "He'll learn how hard this world is," she snorted quietly. For a young filly, she seemed to see the world in a different way compared to other foals. She had more of an understand of what was going on in the lands. She seemed like a horse twice or so her age. Aimee had learned well, from listening to others and the land. Aimee always wondered where she had gotten this kind of personality. She had never met an other foal that could continue a conversation at her level of knowledge.

"Come along, Aimee. We will let your brother see how cruel life can be."Spirit said, turning back towards her and nudging her towards the herd.'
Hidalgo ran long and hard.He kept his pace decent and was soon in Hai lands. He bugled loudly to announce his arrival."I am Hidalgo!Son of Spirit!"

Aimee looked back and then turned away and headed back to the herd.
A few stallions laughed, "Ha, another one." Cham stood by Dal just talking with him.

Dal tossed his head in the paint colt's direction."Look at that Cham.Another of Spirit's boys."
"Yeah, so what?Who's the boss here?"Hidalgo snorted defiantly.

Cham snorted. He didn't like the attitude of this colt. "I'm leader of this herd," he said a bit annoyed.

"Great for that.I'm here to join.I kicked myself outta my dad's herd."Hidalgo said, rasing himself up to full height, which was still fairly small compared to other colts.

"Do you kicked yourself out? That's the first time I've heard something like that in a while," he looked to Dal.

Dal rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"I'm sick of the stupid fool's rules and human-phobia."Hidalgo snorted.

"Every bodies that way now a days," Cham said. Since his encounter with the calvary, he wasn't a a fan of the humans to much. Since that time, his mane had grown quite a bit, but the brand mark still remained.

"I have met a human.I'm not scared of them. We're bigger than we are, and we're in larger numbers!"Hidalgo snorted.
Dal broke in."Listen kid.Cham knows a lot about this kind of stuff. He's dealt with humans of the worst kind, same as your dad."

Hidalgo scoffed."I know more than most of my brothers.Even my eldest brother, Thunder.I haven't seen him for a while, but people say that's what really started Dad's phobia.Him getting taken by humans.I think it's all just plain stupid.Humans are great, especially if they give you cubes that taste like mint."
Dal flicked his ears back.He was not particularily fond of Thunder, for he'd had a cheeky touch to him.But this colt was far worse."I've heard of this one.Swears like the dickens, nasty little thing."He whispered to Cham.
