Chance grumbled something about how horses always seemed to be so demanding or something along those lines. He went over to the strange grass and pulled some out of the ground and carried it back over to the horses.

"Thank you."Raksha hissed,still stung by the comment."Dogs are worse."She said under her breath.jenny went back into the dryness of the shed where she watched Raksha grew the grass and make stupid faces at the taste.She then lapped at her wound,applying the thick paste she'd made.

Chance kept mumbling as he went back over to the run-in and laid down. Mary watched the other mare, then looked over at Jenny. "Wonder if it will work," she whispered to Jenny.

Raksha was used to being commanded to lie near her owners tipi when she was told,and not to mix with others unless she was allowed,and she was doing just that.
