Mary nuzzled him back. The hermit stood there and watched with a smile on he's face. He then walked over to the shed and got a little more food out for him.

Iorek accepted the food gratefully. He knew the winter was coming, as sure as his coat was thickening and his antlers would soon fall off, and he would not be held responsible for eating what little there was for the deer and horses. He would make his own way.
