Jenny heard a wolf howl out in the distance."Oh please hurry."She thought.Though she had scolded Chance for worrying about wolves, she was terribly afraid of them.

Mary some how got the hermit to understand. So, in no time, the hermit had her hitched up to the wagon. He carried the other side, since Jenny wasn't there. They couldn't go to fast seeing as it was a human and a horse trying to work together in this way.
