Spirit had lead his young colt Thunder out onto the play field.He was going to teach him about when he would be leader."Right.Now to be a leader,all you need is to know that the herd comes first.Never think of what's best for yourself until after the herd has been cared for.Do you understand?"He looked at his son.
(Hey what if Strider thinks Spirit's raising him wrong and so he takes him out and teaches him?)

(I don't know,cause then i would have to act as Thunder and Strider,when i hate acting as 2 people at the same time)
Thunder nodded,and pawed the ground impaitently.He knew he had to listen,but he wanted to be with his colt friends,playing

"Don't be all anxious.We'll be done sooner if you do everything right."Spirit then began to tell his son of many things.He chose to do it in this style.

Thunder giggled as he reared.It felt like touching the sky.To a colt his age,it was amazing.He looked at his father and smiled.

Spirit,who laved his little colt's laugh,began to speak once more,"Now this,may look funny,but it can save your life.It's kind of fun though."He began to buck crazily,throwing his body around."What you want to watch,is that you land properly,or you can break your legs."

"Yea,when i ran away a bit earlier,I seen this colt and he reared,while he landed and broke his leg."Thunder frowned.He nodded to his father,as he copied what he did.

Spirit grunted as his son ran into him,and then laughed,"Oh,It's on now!"He told him,turning to nip him in play.Snape, a friend of Thunder's,was watching from a distance."Aww,"He whispered to his friends."Look at Thunder,Pwaying with Daddy."They liked to play with Thunder,but though they were the same age,thought him to be a bit of a baby.The other snickered."Yeah what a dolt."Muck,a brown colt sneered stupidly.

Thunder caught up,and nipped his father then turned away,rearing then galloping off.While galloping,he saw Snape whispering.Snorting,He ingored his father,galloped over and buldged into Snape's side.

Snape,not expecting anything, fell to the ground."Hey!"He said.He stood up,and,being infuriated,shoved him back."Don't push me!"Spirit had seen his colt run playfully still inot his friend,and then seen Snape push his boy to the ground."Crap!"He thought,but for now,he wouldn't interfere.

Snape smacked Thunder's head with his hooves.Spirit had seen enough.After hearing the smack against his son's head,he was angry."Thunder!Let him go!"He demanded.He then turned to Snape,"And you....Apoligise now."Snape stared at him defiantly."Say your sorry!"Spirit stepped towards him."Alright,I'm sorry."He said,before kicking dust at Thunder and trotting off nose in the air with Muck,Hart,and Likea.
