"Cham won't bother you when your with me.He hates to challenge me.It's that Dal that attacks me.He comes out a few times each year,will fight me,and I always give my mares a choice to go with him if they please."Spirit shuddered.He knew what happened to them,but he had warned all of them about them,and if they went off,it was their own stupidity.He heard her say her mother was a calvary horse."What did she look like?"He asked her.He had been to the calvary once before,and one mare had looked at him in an ashamed way.If this had been her,perhaps she had thought he was his father?

"I'm expecting a foal," she said. She started to get a little nervous. "I have no idea of how to raise a foal. I know mares' are suppose to have motherly love when they are about to become a mother, but I just don't have that feeling. I mean...I want to take care of the foal, but I have no idea what the foal will be like..." She turned her head. She was about to cry over the next thing she was about to say. She lowered her head. She did not want to look him in the eyes with the next thing she was about to say. "There are over six different stallions that could be the father," she almost whispered. "I had a run in with the whole Hai herd." She really wanted to cry, but fought the erg. She was always that way. Strong, caring, and never wanting to show emotions of sadness, but this event had changed her. Every time she had spoke the words or thought about it, it hurt her. "I don't know how I'll raise this foal," she said. She felt like the foal would bring her nothing but the memories of the Hai herd run in. She was also scared of how the foal may turn out. She didn't know if the foal would be aggressive and mean like some of those stallions were, or kind and sweet like one of the stallions had been toward her. She kept quiet. She had said to much.

Jade looked to him. For someone she's just met and for a half-brother, Spirit was really being kind. "I don't want to be a burden," she said.

Jade side a sigh of relief. She walked along side of Spirit as they came closer to the herd. Jade looked over the herd. There were so many horses in the herd. She looked around and saw a brown and white paint mare coming towards them.

Hearing the word "Sister",Rain lifted her head up from grazing.Smiling to Spirit and Jade,her vocals rang."Hello all,Welcome Jade!"She smiled.Looking at Jade's stomach,then her owns,it looked as they were both pregnant
