Jade had been with Spirit and his herd for only a few hours. She knew no one, only Rain and Spirit. She had stayed by them the whole time. She hadn't really talked with the other mares. She was worried about what they would think of seeing a 4 year old mare pregnant. It was only March and she was pregnant. The mares in her old herd used to way until they were four to breed. She was 3 years old when it happened. Jade stay away. She knew she was getting some funny looks from quite a few mares. Jade knew it wasn't her fault for being pregnant, but felt that it was. She felt the foal kick within her. She started to get a little more worried. The foal was moving more and more every hour.

Spirit walked behind her."Jade?Are you alright?Do you need anything?"Spirit treated her as if she were his mate,though he only loved her as his sister.

"Don't be so shy.A lot of them just don't like the idea of a horse as young as we are breeding.When we told everyone that I'd gotten Rain pregnant,they would stare at me and glare.They still do it now that I've had twins And sextuplets."Spirit wanted her to be comfortable here,because he liked having family close.

"I guess," Jade said. Jade knew she was younger than Spirit. But the judgmental eyes made her uncomfortable. She also thought about who was the father. She was not sure who he was.
