Thunder pulled back.He kept backing,and throwing his heasd in the air.The colonel wondered what was taking them so long.Thunder kept throwing his head.He was not acccpeting the bit.

The men kept trying until Thunder ran out of space to back up. He was up against a wall.

Thunder slammed up againest the wall.He held his head high,and tossed it so huumans couldn't get at it.Snorting in there faces,he pinned his ears.

Thunder snorteed.His head was held too high,and he lowered it a bit,hurting himself.He had his audiets pinned and his dentals showing.

Thunder snorted and tried to pull up but the man was too strong and Thunder was too weak.Snorting,he troed to do all in his might

The soldiers dragged him away from the wall and pulled hard. They grabbed his ears again and got the bit in his mouth quickly. They worked together so the horse had not time to react to their quick action. They buckled it quickly.

A flash and a shock of coldness went through him.Thunder tried to bite the bit,but it hurt.Snorting,he pinned his auds again.

They had won the fight of tacking him up. The soldier backed away as they grabbed the colt's reins sharply and dragged him out of the stall. The soldiers were pleased with their results. They led Thunder to the Colonel.
Cham was brought back to the stables and put in a small stall. He was in shock. He hardly moved. The brand had hurt so much. He had never felt anything like that in his life.
Utah kept jumping away from the soldiers and tried to kick out at them. Jolie was suppose to ride him, but Utah was fighting everyone. A soldier came running over with a long whip. It looked like a lunge whip. He came running over, ready to use it on Utah.

Thunder snorted.He wasen't ready to feel humans on his back.Most of his bones haven't even grown fully yet.He snorted and reared,knocking all the soldiers down.

Thunder still had all the chains on, so he could not get very far. The soldiers came after him right away. They grabbed his reins and they grabbed the chains, so he could not get away from them.
Utah saw the man with the long whip in him hands coming toward him. His eyes widened to the point the whites could be seen. Utah lunged forward again, this time catching a few soldier by surprise and they fell to the ground. He tried to the best he could with the ropes on his front legs. He just wanted to get away from the whip. He dragged a few soldiers along the ground.

Spirit was impressed his son had his fire.But he hated seeing them be so rough.Why were they being so cruel?Were they going to battle?Or was it just because he was here.Spirit knew how to break free of these stalls,so when everyone had left the stable,he plunged against the boards,feet hurting because of the chains.He moved as fast as he could into the yard."Loose horse running!"Someone shouted.People quickly roped Spirit with chains and threw him to the ground."That's enough out of you,Mustang!I'm going to do what I should have done two years ago!"The Colonel thundered.He pulled a revolver from his belt and pointed it at the struggling animal.Spirit's eyes widened,no one was here to save him this time!This was his time,he could hear the death bell tolling.....

"No," Cham's whinny pierced the air around them as he broke right through the stall door and charged at the Colonel. Cham caught the Colonel by surprise and knocked the Colonel off balance and then BANG...The gun shot rang through the air. Cham's eyes went wide. He panted as he went still and then he fell to the ground. He was still breathing.
