A large,pure black stallion galloped through the canyon.Dust flicking up,he was faster than ever.Apsaloutely no marking at all,Just pure black.The sun shone on him.It was as hot as ever.He kept searching the canyons,Looking for life of horses.He seemed to be running from somthing,but nothing was following him.Snorting,he hoped to find someone.

Hidalgo,second colt of Spirit,was angrily running from his mother's punishment.He'd gone and and purposely,as a joke,pushed prissy Keesha in the mud.He had laughed his brains out,but now he was in trouble.He wheeled around a corner,and nearly ran into a large black stallion.The colt's eyes became wide and he panted as he stared at this huge,godlike creature.

RRowan smiled,snorting gently.He sniffed."Hmm,Say would you be able to lead it to me?I mean no harm."He said,stretching.He did not want to fight with the colt's father,Just wanted to be in a herd..

The stag nodded,following the little colt.He wasen't going to harm anyone,Just wanted to find a herd.Coming upon the herd,he relised it was huge.Sniorting gently,he keptby the colt.

"We're a little crowded because my uncle's herd is staying for a while."Hidalgo said,seeing the stallion's eyes grow at the size of the herd.The herd spread,from a small creek,to a forest.
