Temon smiled at her as he laid his head near Esperanza. He fell asleep thinking about what might go on when they got back. They next morning, Temon woke up first. He heard the sound of a twig braking. He lifted his head quickly, but did not move more than that. He did not want to wake Esperanza. Temon looked out into the woods. He heard more rustling in the woods. He knew it was another horse by the way and sound of the pace or the rustling through the trees. Temon looked out into the woods. Then he said, "What do you want? It's to early to be spying on anyone ."

Deep breathing followed by a deep voice replied,"I am searching for my mother,Esperanza,O unseen one."It was only Spirit.He did not realize it was Temon speaking.

Spirit moved towards them.His brown eyes,now holding much more friendliness to Temon,looked a bit angry to see their position,his mother's head upon his opposite shoulder to the side she was lying on,her neck draped over his back.He felt awkward,and only felt worse when his mother awoke,yawning,and said,not noticing Spirit."What an amazing night."Spirit looked puzzled,with a hint of rage."What does that mean mother?"He asked her.
