Sage looked over at her son.Rebel took a deep breath before he said,"I was just wondering....why everyone's saying we're leaving home.Lyra wasn't very clear."Sage looked taken aback."Oh.Well.You see dear, there are these strange creatures that no one really understands."
"Humans?"Rebel guessed.
"Yes,love.Now, you see they are building things and they're taking more and more land.Soon they will capture all of us or else drive us out anyway.So, your Granddam and some of the others decided it would be best for us to leave ahead of time."
