Alix was running as fast as she could around a corner. She was far to experienced in racing to let a simple corner slow her down. Other, less experienced horses skidded staggered as they followed her suit. ''Sunshine Cherry is in the lead still, here she is, yes, Sunshine Cherry has won once again''commented the commenter.
The cherry bay neighed loudly as she crossed the finishing line in first place, just like many of her races before. Her coat was shining perfectly, and so was her mane and tail. ''Well done Jackie, you did well today''whinnied Alix to the younger Mare who trotted up beside her.

"Well run!"Angel said as she swiftly galloped by for the cooling run.Angel was a bit jealous that Alix had beat her,but then again,her kind were more enduring,not speedy,and she couldn't win them all."See you on the way home!"

''You too Angel''smiled Alix as she trotted to a water holder. She couldn't actually believe there was actually one there. She took a long drink of the cooling water. It soothed her throat.

Angel cooled herself before going back to Alix and the others from their stable.

Stripes looked at the mares with a smile.Angel snorted."Me too.For some reason,he thinks only Thoroughbred should race,yet he tells me I'm so special."

Alix nickered, ''No offence to Stripes or anything, but i've seen a black stallion, he wanders aimlessly about nowdays, and to be honest, he's caught my eye''murmured Alix flicking her tail.
