Utah's ears went forward when he heard the strange stallion say his name. "What's so important about my name," Utah asked.
Temon looked at Utah. Utah was the exact same color and had a white marking on his for head. "I've been looking for you," he said.
"Why," Utah asked as he walked toward the new stallion. He kept his distant.
"Your mother's name was Esperanza, right," he asked.
"Yeah, how do you know that," Utah asked.
"You never new your father right," he asked.
"You are correct, I have never met my father. What's it to you," Utah said. He was getting a little annoyed now because of all the questions.
"I'm your father," Temon said. "I know your mother, Esperanza. I saw her earlier," Temon said.
Utah was lost for words. He couldn't believe it! After all these years his father had show up out of the blue.

Deceivra's eyes shot in surprise.Utah was the only stallion she had actually ever had feelings for,and now this stranger was going to steal him away from her.And he'd said Esperanza,that was her most recent victim,Spirit's mother."We're not going,Utah,darling.Are we?"She said,bumping his hip with hers.

Utah looked at Deceivra and then at his herd. "I'm not sure," Utah said. His mind went blank. He had no idea of what to do.
Temon looked at Utah. He walked up closer to him. "Your mother hasn't see you in years. Don't you think she deserves to know that he first son is still alive," Temon said.
Utah raised his head. "First son?! She had more foals," he asked.
"Yes, but only one," Temon said. "His name's Spirit. You've probably heard of him."
"I've more than heard of him. I've met him once several years ago, but only that once," Utah said.
ooc: I think that Spirit should remember Utah! Like maybe one day went Spirit was young he could have run into him in the mountains once. I thought it might be nice is Spirit could get along with Utah, since he does not get along with Temon. lol. But Spirit never knew Utah's name.

(Good idea.Spirit will hate his stepfather and not trust him.)
"Spirit is dead!"Deceivra said stomping a hoof.She was also very upset that Utah considered going.What if Esperanza remembered her?

"There is nothing to fear there," Temon said. "Esperanza, just want to see you. I came looking for you. After all these years, I found out I had a son. And you are the only son I have."
Utah looked over at Forest. He looked over at Temon again. "What am I suppose to do, just see my mother," he said. He saw the worried look on Deceivra's face, but the others didn't seem to have much to say.
"Maybe you could become allies with the Cimarron herd. It wouldn't hurt to have a few friends outside of the herd to help your herd out in hard times," Temon said.
Utah looked over at Forest. "What do you think? You up for a trip to met this herd," he said. He smiled.

"I was asking for Forest's opinion," Utah snorted. That mare always had something to object to when meeting new herds. Utah always wondered if it was something in her past. Was she hiding something that was dark or was she just secretive.

Forest looked at him nervously."I think Temon is right.We have no reason to fear this herd.And your mother's there.I would give anything to see mine again."Forest had been seperated from his mother when a buffalo stampede had run through the herd.

ooc: Mist is Forest's mother. She is in the herd, unless you want her to be in the cimarron herd. It's up to you.

Decieivra's eyes narrowed.What was the deal with everyone and mothers?She had had one long ago but had left her of her own accord.Who needed them?Though she had no intention of becoming one,she knew something that would guarantee her safety in the Cimarron.She took Utah aside and whispered,"I'm pregnant."

"What?! Really, but with who's foal," Utah asked. He had not touch any of the mares in his herd one since they joined. He knew a few of the mares have been mistreated and understood if they did not wish to breed. Utah had never had any foals with anyone before.
