"Do you still want to come with us? If not, one of the other mares could stay with you," Utah said. He knew all the mares in the herd were able to take care of them selves.

Deceivra wanted to stay, but she wanted him to stay with her.She did not trust the other mares and they hated her."No,no.It's alright,I'll come."She said softly.Later, when the Bronius herd came into view of the Cimarron herd,Spirit's scowling eyes saw that Temon was still with them.A stallion who seemed oddly familiar was alongside him at beside the other stallion was....Deceivra!The vile murderous lying mare!Spirit charged at the newcomers,as did his mother, but her eyes held relief, not anger.Spirit got to the herd before her and confronted Deceivra."Back again,eh,murderer?"He screamed at her, rearing up.

Utah charged in front of Deceivra. Utah wasn't always the fighting type. He usually tried to make peace or at lest sense as to why they would start a fight. "Whoa, whoa! Take it easy," Utah said in a calm voice as Spirit came back to the ground. "What's all this fuss about," he asked. He looked over at Deceivra and then at Spirit. This stallion looked so familiar, he had seen this horse before years ago. But where?

(OMG,Does 'Fall out of his rear' sound as wrong to everyone else as it does to me?)
"She killed me!"He proclaimed falling out of his rear.Everyone stared, even his mother. He had said killed him,but she had TRIED to kill him."She murderous!Get rid of her!"Spirit raved, kicking dirt at her.Deceivra blinked so the dirt wouldn't go in her eyes."Your dirtying my coat, which I groomed very well just for coming here."Spirit snarled."Yeah right you..."

"Would you stop that," Utah said. "She expecting." He had to say something to try and get this crazed stallion way from her. He stood in front of her. "It's my job to protect any mare in my herd who needs help." Utah stopped for a minute and then said, "what do you mean killed you?!" Could Deceivra have really tried to kill another horse? And why? Utah stopped and just stood there waiting for an answer. He knew nothing of Deceivra's past.
ooc: no, it sounds fine.

In Spirit's anger answered this way."Ok since you seem a bit slow I'll lay it out simply for you.She was my mate when I was three. She then, because she is a black widow, meaning she marries and then kills her husband, tried to kill me but luckily only left me terribly injured. But she left her mark on me,oh yes."He then lay onto the ground and rolled onto his back, revealing a long, pink scar that ran the length of his belly. The Cimarron mares gasped. Some of them had seen the terrible thing happen to Spirit. In the horse world, even the most brutal fights never turned to stomach ripping. To do so was unforgivable. The mares began to whisper to each other when Deceivra's eyes looked nervous.Spirit stood."Show them your's Deceivra."He said.Deceivra tilted her head back fairly far,far enough for everyone to see a long pink scar running down the underside of her neck. This was a usual injury form a fight.

Utah was going to snap at Spirit's first comment, but lost all thought of that, once he had heard about what Deceivra had done. Utah's eyes grew wide and the whites of his eyes could be seen. "How could you," he gasped as he looked at Deceivra. "You never said a word about your past...And now I see why. I trusted you. I took you in when no one else would. You were like family to me. But know hearing this...I don't know if I can ever trust you after all the lies you have told," Utah said. Utah turned from her. "I need to go," he said and then galloped off at breakneck speed. He's eyes closed as he galloped on. After all those years, his mares were like family to him. He had grown to trust them all, but know hearing about Deceivra, how could he truly trust their stories of their lives. Utah could be angered by these kind of things, but always tried to stay calm. He never wanted to hurt anyone and that is why he liked to go off galloping as hard and as fast as he could. He had done these ever since he was little. It helped to calm him down after becoming furious. A young gray filly, whom had been in the back of the herd the whole time came forward. Her name was Niga. She glared at Deceivra when she passed her. Without a word, she went after Utah, she knew that Utah was one of those horses, that trust can be broken for sometime if not repair right away. He was a strong and brave leader. Niga galloped as fast as she could to catch up to Utah. "Utah! Wait," she yelled. She caught up to him and got in front of him to stop him. "What do you think you're doing," she said. "I'm going off to be alone for a while," he said. "Utah, you can't just run away from your problem," she said. Utah stopped and looked at her. He turned and shock his head,"You just down get it..." "Yes, I do. I may be younger than you, but I understand this...That you are angered by being betrayed by someone so close," Niga said. "But things like this happen and there's no way to change our pasts, but we can change our futures." Utah looked at Niga. She was right. Utah hadn't galloped off in anger in quite some time. It only happened if something really upset him. "Come on," Niga said. "Lets go back. They are wondering where you were headed and some are a little worried." Niga head back toward the two herds. Utah sighed and followed her.
Temon looked over at Deceivra, he knew there was something odd about that mare. He looked over at Spirit. "He may not be a great leader of a great herd, but he knows when to stop when he has crossed the line," Temon snorted as he stood in front of Spirit. Temon knew that Utah was as quick as a whip when it came to galloping and thinking, but sometimes he just hated to face the horrible truth. Spirit had crossed the line when he had just stormed up to this herd and went after one of the mares. Ever if she had done something horrible, that was no way to greet another herd. Temon knew that you should never just aim at one horse when a new herd has come. Ever if something happened in the past, that could have been resolved later when there weren't so many others watching. Temon looked over at Esperanza. So much has changed in the years that have past, it's hard to tell what was going to happen next in between horses now a days. And he didn't mean just stallion, it was also the mares too. But he could not blame Spirit for wanting to go after someone like that, but sometimes there were things at times that were more important.
ooc: sorry that it's so long. I got caught up in the story. lol

Deceivra, looked after Utah as he ran off,and hung her head as she knew he'd probably oucast her like everyone else had when they'd found out about her.She would tell him of her true feelings when he returned. She then moved a fair distance away from the Cimarron and Bronius herds.
Spirit felt pleased with himself that everyone had seen what a horror lay within that innocent face, but he also felt remorse. This Utah had seemed to have real feelings for her,and he had just destroyed them.Spirit had only wanted what was best for his herd and Rain.Rain...she was later to have his foal. Was the situation the same between Utah and Deceivra? He then also went off on his own to think what he'd feel like if someone had done that to him and Rain.As he did,he swore he could feel the thick ropes of wranglers leading him away again.
Esperanza went to gallop after he son,but Forest stopped her."he needs to be alone."He said.

Niga was farther ahead of Utah. Her walk was quick and had a spring to it. She was ready to go back to the herds. It was always a weird feeling for her now to be away from the herd. Ever since she had joined the herd, her feelings about going off alone have changed. She knew Utah was near, but he was falling behind. Utah walked slower than usually. His four beat rhythm to his walk lacked that of a steady beat. His head was low as he followed Niga. He didn't make a sound, besides a heavy sigh here and there. Niga glanced over her shoulder. Utah looked the way most of the horses in the calvary did after a few months or years of being captured. She turned her head and looked forward again. She gave a light and quiet sigh. She'd never seen Utah so down before. Then she heard something in the wooded land not to far away from them. The sound stopped, and Niga shook that creepy feeling away and kept walking on. But the sound came again. This time the sound was closer. Niga stopped for a second. Was someone following them? She started walking again, but very quietly. The sound did not start back up again for a while.
ooc: I have an idea, a new character to introduce and I need someone to play his friend. You'll see, you'll probably see the characters before you see the story, but oh well. I'll make the characters a little later today. I have to go.

Esperanza decided she would graze while she awaited her sons' returns. She picked lazily at the grass as a gentle breeze blew against her cheek, reminding her of sweet Strider's kiss.

Niga heard a sound again. This time she stopped and said,"Hello, anyone there?" Utah looked at her and said,"What is it?" "I don't know," whispered Niga. "It might be a wolf passing by," he said. "I WOLF?!" Niga panicked. "Keep it down. You don't want it over here do you," Utah said.

Katarna had heard, the young filly's fright was to much for the experienced hunter, and hunger drove her.Besides, she had pups to feed. She waited till the filly stepped right in front of the bush she was behind, before she pounced, knocking the filly to the ground."Be still pretty one. Then death shall come quietly."

Katarna was weakened from hunger, but was not yet weak enough she would give up such an easy meal. She snapped at the stallion's hooves, then ran to Niga, grabbed her by her ears and began to pull her towards the bushes.

Niga whinnied in pain. Utah reared up and charger at the wolf. He hit her hard and she let go of Niga's ear and went flying a small distant.
