Rebel whinnied sharply at his father,as if demanding he come closer.Sage then quietly got to her feet and moved a few steps,making Rebel want to rise with her.

Sage was too occupied with Rebel to notice,and the other mares were congratulating her on a colt so like her.

Utah walked his colt and Sage. He smiled weakly. And then he saw Spirit coming. He became a little uneasy, but kept his eyes on his colt.

"Congrads bro."He said.He looked at the colt,his line of vision also picking up his brother's bleeding underside.He made a gesture with his head to ask him to come with him."What happened to you?"He said when they got away from the others.

"I had a run in with the wolves," Utah said. "There were three of them this time." He turned his head a little. He didn't want to make eye contact with Spirit. He knew that Spirit had gone through the same with with one of the wolves, but Spirit was able to still have more foals. He was more embarrassed and ashamed because he had pointed out he's father's problem in his anger before he stormed off and the same thing had happened to him.

Utah looked over he's shoulder. Looking at Sage and he's colt. Then turned back to Spirit. "If it means my family will be safe," he said.

"But there isn't any garentee they'll be safe with me gone,especially if you come with me.I'd almost say bring them with us,but Cobalt is across the desert,too hard for a foal."Spirit worried for them.He'd been filled in on Sage's attitude and fighting Spirit.He liked her as much as he could love his brother's wife.The colt too.
