The sound of the hooves slowed. The hooves could be seen below the line of the lowest branches. Utah stopped. He saw the branches of the bushes were stirred in away. The shook slowly as they started to settle. Utah knew Spirit was in there. He sifted around at the branches a bit. He started to get he's head throw the thicket of branches. "Chill, would ya," Utah said as he saw Spirit as he managed to get half-way through the branches.

"Oh it's you."Spirit said,his voice coming from the opposite side of the bush."Can you help me get me out of these things?They do hurt."He said,swishing his chocolate tail.

"Fine," Utah said as he started to push at the branches to made an exit and help Spirit out of them.

The stallion emerged,looking very different,considering he'd only been out two days.His mane was matted and greasy,eyes wild looking yet sunken,and his body was coated with scratches from the brambles.Most distinctive of them,was a long jagged line over his right eye."Now,what was it you wanted?"Spirit said.
(in case you didn't catch it in the other rp,Scar,like the one from lion king only turned horse,is Spirit's father,so now he has the scar,only on the opposite eye)

"Well what do I care?I'm a stone-cold murderer after all."Spirit said sarcastically.He sounded very much like his real father,Scar,who had also murdered someone,only he'd killed his own brother.

"So you want me to turn tail,pack my bags and leave my family behind?!Your so selfish sometimes Utah!Do you want me to waltz into the herd and get down on my knees and begs her to give you custody then when I'm finished everyone will kill me?Because that is what they will do Utah,they will KILL me."Spirit said,putting emphasis on kill.He stood before his older brother,and though Spirit was more muscled,Utah's genes had already proven to be enough to beat him and he had scars to prove it.

"That's not what I mean! She's lonely keeping me away from him because of you! Everything I've known! Everything I've ever done is nothing but lies...Thanks to you," Utah said. "I believed in you. I never felt like I was alone. I never felt like I was lost because I know the ways you had started were the ways I wanted to follow, but now...They mean nothing! Nothing at all! I shouldn't have believed in any of it! I should have stayed to my old ways! Being a wanderer for the rest of my days. The safe way, the happy way. But ever since I met you, the path just grew rougher! I thought I could take it on, but after seeing what you did...I don't want to end up like you!" Utah turned. And he said almost in a whisper, "I should have never trusted anyone." Utah thought back to what he's mother had said about the stallion in the woods that Spirit had seen. Then, it all came back to Utah. "I was that stallion you saw in the woods. Years ago. I remember seeing you," he said almost in a shock, even to himself.

Spirit looked at Utah.He had been about to bite him,but stopped,the memory flooded his mind,leaving no room for anything else.He was about four months old,and being very bold had wandered away from his mother.He went into the woods,and by the time he'd wanted to turn around,it had become very dark and he could hear animals all around him,he did not know if they were friendly or not.He had let himself fall to the ground and began to whimper.Then,out of nowhere,the chestnut stallion with a white star on his forehead appeared and lead him back to the edge of the trees.Spirit had looked into those eyes years ago,and now realized they were his brother's.Spirit had tears in his eyes as the memory faded."I....I always wanted to be like you."Spirit said,clearing his voice and eyes."I want to come back,but I can't.What can I do if I'm an outcast?"Spirit said,pawing the ground.

Spirit turned away,closing his eyes."I'll tell you what I've put together."Spirit said.He began his story."I don't know if you've noticed,by I've slowly deteriorated from the inside.My heart's been shattered.I have felt so guilty about my son being taken from me,I've let it eat me.I thought of him,and how painful those thoughts were,I was angry at those terrible humans for taking him,then,those foals started laughing,and it made me think of the cruel way the humans laughed at my attempts when I was there,so I turned,and I.....I...."Spirit's face clenched.He could say it.

"I mean about Thunder," Utah said. "But what has happened can not be changed. But now that we know that it was out of anger, there is a chance you can come back. I just had to take with our mom. She knew you wouldn't just do it for no reason. That's why she sent me."
