Spirit and his mate,Rain ran together,side by side,heading for their home.After a tearful good-bye to Rain's master,they had began their journey.When they arrived at their home,Spirit's herd greeted them.Spirit then introduced her to his mother.
"Mom,this is Rain.She's my mate."Esperanza smiled.
"So your my daughter-in-law."She cast herself into a hug.

Rain was happy,But still had tears from saying goodbye to her old owner.She looked at epersanza and smiled.
"Yes i am!"She said as she nuzzeled spirit

Esperanza smiled."Well,don't you stay up too late tonight."She said as she went off for the last graze of the night.

All rain did after that was graze on the tall hill spirit stood on.When she was tired she would lay down.

"Rainey?Are you alright?"He said.He wondered,was she hiding something.

Spirit nuzzled her.He was glad she liked her new home.He was also nervous about how good a father he'd be.His had died before his birth and Spirit had never had any fatherly guidance.

Rain smiled at spirit and knew he was nervous.Both her parents died when she was young so she had no guidance either.But she knew espersanza would help

Spirit's eyes closed in bliss.He was still so worried.Questions ran through his mind.What if they hated him?What if he became a brute and hurt them?Would he be able to discipline them?

The next day,as usual,Spirit woke early.He stretched and shook his gleaming body,and beganto ascend up the hill.
